Student Counseling Center

COVID-19 update: 

The Counseling Center is available to support students in a remote capacity. Counselors are providing virtual services daily during our hours of operation with appointments from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. You have the option of phone or teletherapy sessions.  If you are currently receiving services through the center, we advise that you keep your regular appointments and we will help you complete your regular appointment through the method determined by you and your counselor. Virtual “walk-ins” are being addressed by our care coordinator through phone and teletherapy sessions. Students can reach out to the center by phone at 516-877-3646 or by email at

The Student Counseling Center provides comprehensive mental health, preventative and educational services to any student enrolled at Adelphi. Staffed by a psychiatrist, licensed clinical psychologists, social workers, graduate-level social work interns and doctoral-level clinical psychology interns, the center can provide you with the services and support to help you define and accomplish your personal, academic and professional goals.
